Warm Spiced Cranberry Tea

As the days get cooler (and seem to get shorter), one of my favorite things to do is relax in the evening with a good book or art project and sip on warm tea. Below is one of my favorite seasonal cranberry tea recipes. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 quarts water
  • 1 (12 ounce) package cranberries
  • 1 1/3 cups agave nectar
  • 2 oranges, juiced
  • 2 lemons, juiced
  • 12 whole cloves
  • 2 cinnamon sticks

Directions: In a large pot, combine water and cranberries. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 30 minutes. Add agave nectar, orange juice, lemon juice, cloves and cinnamon sticks. Cover, and steep for 1 hour.

Tips: Can be kept warm in a slow cooker or in an electric tea kettle. Leftover tea can be strained and refrigerated for cold tea.
